How do proofs work (and what happens after approval)?

Last updated: 2026-01-05

A proof is where we remove the expensive mistakes: wrong size, unreadable type, barcode issues, wrong unwind, wrong finish expectation.

What you approve

  • Final size + shape (and rounding if used)
  • Layout, text, and hierarchy (especially small compliance text)
  • Material direction (paper vs film; clear vs white)
  • Roll specs (core size, OD, unwind)

What changes after approval

  • Edits become a new proof cycle (because it’s a new job setup)
  • Timeline starts when approval is received
