Outer diameter (OD) is the maximum outside diameter of a finished roll. Printers and applicators have an OD limit. Exceed it and you get jams, rub, or the roll simply won’t load.
What affects OD
- Label count per roll
- Material thickness (face stock + liner)
- Core size
