Cold storage isn’t just “cold.” It’s condensation + surface energy issues that cause edge lift and peel.
What to specify (so labels stick)
- Film face stock (often performs better than paper when wet)
- Cold/wet adhesive direction (tell us “fridge/freezer” explicitly)
- Application conditions (applied warm then chilled vs applied cold)
Common mistakes
- Applying labels to cold, wet containers
- Choosing paper without protection for wet handling
- Ignoring container texture (micro-texture reduces bond)
Tell us your container + storage conditions and we’ll recommend the construction.
